How Water Softeners Work
One of the biggest misconceptions about water softeners is that the salt is what softens your water. What actually softens the water are thousands of tiny resin beads within the tank that filter out hard water chemicals. The salt is used to clean the resin beads during a regeneration cycle, allowing the system to continually remove hardness from your water supply.
Here’s a breakdown of how the water softening process works:
1. Hard water enters your home from the main water pipe and travels to the water softener.
2. Resin beads in the tank attract and hold onto hard water minerals, removing them from your water.
3. Softened water exits the tank and flows to the plumbing throughout your home.

Why should you hire Allegiance? Quality. Dependability. Customer service. Experience. Dedication. Hard work. This company takes quality experience and service to the next level. I haven’t worked with many home service companies who do such a good job like this. From the moment we got the quote, until the minute the job was done, they were reliable and they provided the service we requested. First they came out to inspect the issue. Once they figured out what was wrong, they provided a verbal quote and followed up with a digital quote. I was able to accept the quote digitally and put a deposit down to begin the work. Since our system needed to be replaced, it was quite a process and luckily they had it all under control. They contacted the city and cox communications to flag their underground items so that they knew where to avoid. Then Lawson came out and literally spent an entire day replacing the system. The customer service was above and beyond. Yes there are a million plumbers and irrigation companies out there, but there aren’t as many reputable, trustworthy, licensed and qualified ones like Allegience.

Had an issue with my sprinkler system, something failed and I had a big wet spot on the side of my house. Called in and was helped with instructions on how to turn off the sprinkler side so no water would go to it until a repair could be scheduled. Paul comes out and shows me the problem, we set a time and he fixes all of that, THEN while testing, just waltzes into the spraying sprinklers and dials in where the water SHOULD have been spraying, like " oh, that's the wrong direction to spray for this area..." Then he programs the whole thing to fix my already mediocre lawn and bushes, told me what to do to improve my lawn through yard care and got into his car with soaking pants and thanked ME! 10/10.

I had Eloy come by to repair a water softener system that had failed, as well as replace the filter in the RO system. He was courteous, knowledgeable, responsive, timely, and really knew his stuff.
